Meet your activity leader: Sam
Hey, everyone! And welcome to the beautiful city of Moscow! I'm Sam, and I'm going to show you one of the most beautiful streets in the city center. I'm 29. I graduated from a Linguistic University and I really enjoy working with tourists from all over the world. I'm interested in architecture, history, literary science, anthropology and psycholinguistics.
What to expect
Novokuznetskaya street is a fantastic variety of architectural masterpieces with patterns of Empire style to the most unconventional Khrushchev-era apartment blocks. This is where you can find centuries-old churches, neoclassical buildings, XIX century revenue houses with their variety of architectural style. What is even more interesting is a great number of side streets that are definitely worth turning to. A side street or a side road is a phenomenon which is pretty much intrinsic to the Moscow center with its chaotic development and construction works. All side streets that intersect Novokuznetskaya street enshrine memories of distant centuries.
